Leader: Praise the Lord!
People: We will give thanks to the Lord with our whole hearts!
Leader: The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who delight in them.
People: God’s work is honorable and glorious, and God’s righteousness endures forever.
Leader: God has made his wonderful works to be remembered;
People: The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
Leader: He has sent redemption to his people; he has commanded his covenant forever;
People: Holy and awesome is his name!
Leader: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding.
All: His praise endures forever!
PRAYER OF PRESENCE
All: Almighty and everlasting God, we kneel before you. We sing your praises and offer you our worship. Set your love in our hearts and your Word on our lips. Be with each of us here, from the oldest to the youngest, men and women; whether we seek you with joys or with worries. We are all here as one church to show our love for you. Continue to bless us and show us your love and grace by your Holy Spirit. We pray all this through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYER FOR GRACE
All: Merciful God, we confess that we have not followed your way. You give us the gift of wisdom, yet we continue in foolishness. You provide the bread of life, yet we persist in the ways of death. God of grace, forgive us. Help us to make better use of the lives you have given us, giving glory to you in all things. Through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.
