People: And set my feet upon rock, making my steps secure.
Leader: He put a new song in my mouth -
People: A song of praise to the Lord!
Leader: Here I am, O Lord – in the scroll of the book it is written of me,
All: I delight to do your will, O my God; your Word is within my heart.
PRAYER OF PRESENCE
All: Lord God almighty, we offer you our praise. You created us in your goodness, and made us worthy of your love. Put your joyful spirit in each of our hearts. Help us to find happiness in our lives, and spread your joy and your love to all people. Bless us to find peace and harmony in your worship this morning. We ask this blessing in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYER FOR GRACE
All: Great God of love and mercy, we pray to you. We confess that we, as your church, fall short of your calling to us. You command us to love you and love our neighbor, but we prefer to work for our own selfish gain. We fill our lives with stress and forget to live in your joy. Lord, help us to be diligent when we must, but also help us remember to trust in your blessings. Fill us with such overflowing grace that we are overcome in our love for you. We pray this out of love for your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
(to be sung - Hear our prayer O Lord. Hear our prayer O Lord. Incline thine ear to us, and grant us Thy peace. Amen.
