People: Do not turn away from your servant in anger,
Leader: Do not cast me off, and do not forsake me,
All: O God you are our salvation!
PRAYER OF PRESENCE
All: God of all creation, we know you are always with us. We feel your breath on the wind; we see your glory in the sun and stars; we live in the embrace of your love. Open us up to receive you, and to recognize your presence in our lives. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYER FOR GRACE
All: Holy Lord, hear our prayer. We ask for your mercy in our lives. For the times we sow divisions instead of seeing our common humanity. We pray this in the name of our redeeming Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
(to be sung - Hear our prayer O Lord. Hear our prayer O Lord. Incline thine ear to us, and grant us Thy peace. Amen.
WORDS OF ASSURANCE (1 John 4:9-10)
