Leader: O Lord my God, many are the wonders you have done for us;
People: And great are the things you have planned for us.
Leader: None can compare with you; we cannot speak of all your deeds,
People: For they would be too many to declare.
Leader: Our sacrifice and offerings you do not desire;
People: But you ask that we come, and we are here.
Leader: Our desire is to do your will, O God,
People: For your law is within our hearts.
Leader: May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you,
All: You are our help and deliverer. Let all say, “Great is the Lord!”
PRAYER OF PRESENCE
All: Gracious God, you discern your hearts. You look beneath our outward appearances. You see your image in each of us. Help us to see the world through your eyes, and with the compassion of Jesus Christ who redeems us. In his holy name we pray, Amen.

PASSING OF THE PEACE
PRAYER FOR GRACE
All: God of greatest mercy, we pray our sin to you. You provide our daily bread, yet we hunger for other things. You give your word to guide us, yet we surrender to temptation. Our sin is ever before us. God of grace, forgive us. Create a clean heart in us, and teach us your holy way. Restore to us the joy of salvation through Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
