Leader: Put your trust in the Lord, and do good,
People: So that we may live in the land and enjoy security.
Leader: Commit your way to the Lord.
People: Trust in him, and he will act.
Leader: Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath,
People: For fretting only leads to evil.
Leader: Turn from evil, and do good, and you will dwell in the land forever.
All: For the Lord will never forsake his faithful people.
PRAYER OF PRESENCE
All: Holy Lord, your Word is known to the far corners of the earth. On every continent your works are adored and your name is praised. Join our voices to the great chorus of the faithful. Bless us in our worship of you. Renew our hearts with your love and kindness. Make us joyful servants of your holy majesty. And send your peace and presence on each of us here, and in all places where your name is revered. We ask your blessing through the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYER FOR GRACE
All: Gracious God, we pray for your heavenly mercy. We are condemned by our own sin, and the sin of the world around us. We embrace temptations, turn our hearts to our own wants and desires, and ignore your calling in our lives. Lord, we pray that we may be renewed in your love, and recommitted to your service. We ask for your blessings of grace through the name of Jesus Christ, who blots out our sin with divine mercy. Amen.
