Message from the Pastor
Greetings, and welcome to Faith Community Church! It’s a blessing and a privilege for me to have served as Pastor here since March of 2017. I hope that as you visit and worship with us, you’ll be treated to a meaningful and uplifting experience of God in your life.
At Faith Reformed, we pride ourselves on our sense of fellowship, in everything that means. Beginning with my first day here, I have been constantly impressed by the amount of support that everybody in the congregation gives to each other. We pray for each other, we look out for one another, we celebrate each other’s triumphs and milestones, and we lift each other up when it is needed. The family of Faith Reformed Church is one of the closest church families I’ve ever been a part of.
Our typical Sunday morning worship is fairly traditional (I prefer “vintage”) in style. You’d be hard-pressed to find a laser light show or fog machine in our sanctuary. Yet our praise is sincere. Our worship is honest. We are constantly striving to better love God and love our neighbors. And as we grapple with the big questions of life and faith, we won’t always have the answer. But we explore the questions together, with respect for each other and love for our Lord.
Whether you’re new to the area, whether you’ve driven by our building a thousand times, or whether you’ve worshiped with us before, I hope you’ll make the time to stop in. We’re always delighted to make new friends, to share a song together, and to share in God’s Word. I’ve been blessed to discover that Faith Reformed is a special place; I hope you’ll think so too!
