People: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Leader: My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
People: Let the humble hear and be glad.
Leader: O magnify the Lord with me,
People: And let us exalt his name together.
Leader: I sought the Lord and he answered me,
People: And delivered me from all my fears.
Leader: The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
All: None who take refuge in him will be condemned.
PRAYER OF PRESENCE
All: Eternal God of heaven, we raise our voices to call on your name! Bless us with the presence of your Holy Spirit, and with all the saints of your kingdom. Lend us your strength, your wisdom, and your will, as we join together in your worship. Make our offerings of praise and thanksgiving a joy to you. We pray this through the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYER FOR GRACE
All: Merciful God, we confess that we have not followed your way. You call us to love and serve you, yet we choose false and empty idols. You call us to new life in Christ, yet we turn aside and fall back in fear. Forgive us, God of grace. By your Word and Spirit, give us the wisdom and strength to love and serve you faithfully; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
